With this investment, we have gained an essential space in the welding area, which allows us to build three machines simultaneously while improving safety at work. VERTICAL SHEET METAL WAREHOUSE

This July, we have been given another component of the investment that we started in 2023, it is a vertical warehouse, for the storage of sheet metal formats. It consists of 24 drawers with a capacity of 3000 Kg. Each one. With this investment, we managed to gain space in the welding department, have greater control of stocks, better management of scraps and we improved working conditions by reducing the risk of accidents when handling sheets.

WAREHOUSE, The software developed by RIERGE, for the management of smart warehouses of the GOLIATH range, our engineering department has worked for the last two years on this project to obtain an easy-to-use tool that provides us with maximum information and flexibility, when managing smart warehouses.

This application is a step forward towards new technologies. It is the development of an intelligent warehouse, which provides us with the possibility of loading our machining centers fully automatically, as well as the distribution of boards in the warehouse and management of entry and exit of pallets, taking different points of origin. and destination of the board. This system provides us with information about the stock of parts in the warehouse and allows us to reorganize them.

We have incorporated a parts turner into our welding section, for the benches of our machines. With this device we achieve greater safety for our staff when turning parts for welding, at all angles.
We also achieve greater work ergonomics by being able to weld at the appropriate height and inclination.
This is the first installment of an investment of more than €1,5M planned for this year and the next, in our production process, to achieve greater productivity and better working conditions.
