RIERGE gows up in Brasil

Manufacturing machines tailored to the customer needs.

Rierge was once again the protagonist in FIMMA-Brasil, as has been happening few years for years;

at first through a subsidiary, and for four years with an own company.

This year has been the third edition in which we have participated, and the prestigious company of Barcelona already has an important Brazilian market, interested in its machinery.

As Javier Serrano, Rierge’s Comercial Director in Spain and present in the sample of Bento Gonçalver, told us “we have verified that after a bad year and a half in Brazil, the client here already enters and relies on our company, because they have seen that we have come and we have stayed to grow here“.

Now, the spanish company intention is to work hard in this market; not only in the wood world, of great importance in Rierge, but also in other new segments where it is also growing (aeronautical, rail, naval or automobile, among others), with which it Rierge already works in Spain.

Javier Serrano notes that the wood and furniture sector in Brasil is “great, endless“, with companies that have hundreds of workers; Something difficult to see in Spain.

We have invested a lot of money to be and stay here and we belive that, although we have spent a difficult time in this country, the market will soon roll again, because wood and furniture represent here a significant percentage of its Gross Domestic Product“, he adds.

From North to South, there are its numerical control machines

Rierge has several numerical control machines positioned in Brazil, from North to South, throughout the country, even in small localities. The evolution is ready underway and it is perceived that “they are bringing closer to the approaches that we see in Europe“, says Javier Serrano.

On the other hand, Marcelo Albuquerque, head of Rierge’s sales in Brazil, is clear that “it is important to be present in samples like FIMMA to promote the brand, make new contacts and maintain current ones and, of course, to make our technical innovations“.

Brazil needed technology to work entire boards, especially with curtom furniture. Tailored furniture machinery“, says, after agreeing with Serrano that they have also started working with companies in the aeronautical and automotive sector, not only wood.

In this sample, Rierge has been able to make known to the public all its offer, its novelties and intentions, and to attend to the demands that each client needs, “according to the customer“, says Albuquerque.

Rierge has already established its machines in practically all sectors in Spain, and gradually it enters the large wood market that exists in this great country that is Brazil.
